Before I left to travel the world me & my boy Sam knuckled into some insane weeks of training, progress & mental evolution mutually, but naturally as I left things slowed down a tad.
Half way through my trip we actually teamed up to do ”in-depth online coaching” for him & in the last 2 phases (12 weeks) we have been working together I’ve seen more progress in that time, then over the years of his training - it also isn’t just because of me…
You see everyone has this idea “what program do you follow” - as if following a program is going to change your life… It doesn’t.
What changes your life is learning how to apply a work ethic, programming to ENJOY training, doing less then you think you should, self respect, learning about yourself & getting your head around what long term looks like & she ain’t a straight line at all.
There has been moments of celebration for 12 weeks of faultless gym consistency & moments of accountability calling out that there was too much cardio being done & more work done then wanted.
We have worked on language from:
“healthy vs bad foods” into “what works for me & what makes me feel good”
“Shit & fucked up” into “learnt & realised”
“Suck it up & get on with it” into “making needed calls to pull it back”
It ain’t the weights that changes your life, it’s learning what they weights do for you, why you’d do them, how to do them best that does.
It ain’t flawless eating that changes your life, it’s learning what you enjoy, learning what you eat is how you feel, that sacrifice pays returns.
Boy I am so beyond proud of you I cant even express it… You aren’t just killing, you are showing up for you future fkn self.
